The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On Television and Radio Broadcasting" (re Sign-Interpretation in State-Owned Television Companies)

The bill (Reg. No. 8214) obliges the state-owned television companies to provide news broadcast with sign-interpretation, and compels the state-owned and municipal television and radio companies to provide sign-interpretation of the distributed official letters of the public authorities and local self-government and other prescribed information.
